Dear California Department of Education,
We are writing as parents to express our strong support for the renewal of the charter for **Baypoint Preparatory Academy**. Our family deeply values this school, and we sincerely hope it will be allowed to continue operating for many years to come.
Our daughter became a Baypoint student under very stressful circumstances. Just weeks before the school year began, our zoned public school informed us that there was no available spot for her. This news arrived during the same week I was preparing to give birth to our second child, making an already emotional and overwhelming time even more difficult.
Baypoint Preparatory Academy responded to our application with extraordinary compassion and efficiency. Our daughter was accepted within 24 hours of submitting her application. More than simply offering a seat, Baypoint gave our family peace of mind during one of the most eventful and stressful weeks of our lives. That level of responsiveness and care meant more to us than words can express.
Since enrolling, our daughter has thrived. She loves her teachers, feels supported by the school staff, and has built meaningful friendships. She is excited to attend school each day, and as parents, we are confident she is in a nurturing and academically supportive environment.
We are so grateful for Baypoint Preparatory Academy that we sincerely hope our son will also have the opportunity to attend when he is ready for Transitional Kindergarten. Having a school we trust and believe in makes an enormous difference for families like ours.
Baypoint Preparatory Academy is more than just a school—it is a community that supports students and families when they need it most. For these reasons, we respectfully urge the California Department of Education to renew Baypoint Preparatory Academy’s charter.
