To the ACCS commissioners and California Department of Education (CDE) staff,

My name is Michael Budfuloski, and I am an 8th grader at Baypoint Preparatory Academy. I have attended Baypoint since 2nd grade, and I am writing this letter to show my support for Baypoint's charter renewal.

Baypoint has helped me grow both academically and personally over the years. The teachers and staff push students to do their best while also supporting us when we need help. Because of Baypoint, I have had opportunities that have challenged me and helped me become more confident.

One of the biggest opportunities I have had at Baypoint is being part of the archery team. I am also the archery team captain for the past two years. I was able to compete at Nationals and was ranked in the top 10 middle school boys in California. Being on the archery team taught me discipline, focus, and responsibility, and it showed me what I can accomplish with hard work and dedication.

I am also involved in Baypoint's leadership program, which has helped me develop leadership skills and learn how to be a positive role model for other students. In addition, I participate every year in the Veterans Appreciation event, which has taught me the importance of giving back and showing respect to those who have served our country.

Baypoint has been a place where I feel supported and encouraged to grow. As I prepare to move on to high school, I am grateful for the foundation Baypoint has given me. I believe Baypoint is a school that truly cares about its students and helps them succeed.

For these reasons, I strongly support the renewal of Baypoint Preparatory Academy's charter.
