Dear Commissioners,
My name is Eloisa Portillo, and I am 8 1/2 years old and in 3rd grade at Olive Grove Charter School. I have never gone to an in person school, only Olive Grove. I love my teachers and learning at home and in class. I love that I can have meetings every single day with my classmates and my teacher. I also love that they let us do so many fun science activities and I can spend as much time working on them as I want. I really love science and I get to do so many cool experiments here at home. I built a solar oven and cooked a pizza in it. I also got to see that when I put a pen close to water that is coming out of a faucet the water is attracted to the pen. Science is so neat!
I take ballet six times a week and I also ride horses. Olive Grove helps me have time to do school and ballet and riding. I learn a lot and my teacher is really nice and smart. She really cares about me and makes sure I am learning everything I need to.
I love my school and I really hope that you help us keep it open.
