Instructional Quality Commission to Conduct Final Review of
History-Social Science Edits

The California State Board of Education will not be considering an adoption of the History-Social Science Framework at its May 11-12, 2016 meeting. The board is requesting that the full Instructional Quality Commission (IQC) conduct a final review of edits and make a recommendation to the board. The next IQC meeting is May 19. An exact date has not been set for the Board to consider the Framework adoption.
