AB 361 (Chapter 165, Statutes of 2021) related to the COVID-19 pandemic allows state bodies covered by the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act (Act) to hold public meetings covered by the Act via web and/or audio teleconferencing. As such, the SBE Screening Committee meeting will be held via the format of video conferencing.

The purpose of this meeting is to interview candidates for appointment to the California Practitioners Advisory Group (CPAG). The Screening Committee will decide which candidates it will recommend to the full State Board of Education for action by the State Board at its November 3-4, 2021 meeting.

3. Consideration of candidates for appointment to the CPAG, as follows:
   • Interviews of candidates for the CPAG.
   • Selection of candidates to recommend to the State Board of Education for appointment
