ARTS EDUCATION ADOPTION MEETING LOGISTICS

On March 17, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom issued Executive Order N-29-20 related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Executive Order allows state bodies covered by the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act (Act) to hold public meetings covered by the Act via web and/or audio teleconferencing. As such, the April 12–16, 2021, reviewer training meeting will be held as an audio/video teleconference and will have a live webcast. Following are options to access the meeting.

You may access the meeting by clicking the link below to access the live Arts Education Adoption reviewer training meeting webcast:

  • Live Webcast (Link is no longer available)

If you do not have access to the internet, dial into the Arts Education Adoption Meeting using the conference dial-in number below. If you desire to give public comment, do so using the same dial-in number during the specified time.

  • Conference Dial-in Number: Information no longer available
Participant Access Code: Information no longer available
    Participant Features
*3 Exit – exit the call
    *6 Mute/Unmute – caller-controlled muting

Once the host places the call for “Q & A” (public comment):

Participants hear the voice prompt: “The Q & A session has started. To ask your question, please press *6.” Participants are prompted to press 1 to confirm and be placed in the “Q&A” queue. The host can click a participant name or caller number to allow the participant to make their comment.

Prior to making public comment, speakers who are watching the meeting via live webcast should make sure the volume on their computer is muted to avoid any echoing or feedback sounds during the call.

NOTE: The voice prompt is automated and uses the term “Q&A session.” However, during public comment the committee will not respond to comments or questions from the public.
