†Represents schools with various grade spans that are uncommon (fewer than 10 schools with those particular grade spans).

††Includes juvenile hall/court, county community, opportunity, California Education Authority, special education, preschool (with K-12 enrollment), district office, and state special schools.

§Nonpublic nonsectarian schools (NPSs) are CDE-certified private, nonsectarian schools that enroll individuals with exceptional needs that the district cannot provide services for.
