Field Name	Field Type	Description
AcademicYear	Character	Year of data.
CountyCode	Character	Leading 2 digits of the 14-digit county/district/school (CDS) code.
DistrictCode	Character	Third through seventh digit the 14-digit county/district/school (CDS) code.
SchoolCode	Character	Last seven digits of the 14-digit county/district/school (CDS) code. For districts and county offices, the last seven-digits will be zeroes.
CountyName	Character	County name.
DistrictName	Character	District name.
SchoolName	Character	School name.
Charter	Character	This field identifies a charter school. The field is coded as follows: Y = The school is a charter N = The school is not a charter
AggLevel	Character	This is a coded field for identifying the aggregate level. The aggregate levels are coded as follows. D = Local educational agency totals (includes districts and direct funded charter schools) O = County totals S = School totals T = State totals
Grade	Numeric	Grade level for the course enrollment reported in this record The field is coded as follows: KN = Kindergarten 01 = 1st Grade 02 = 2nd Grade 03 = 3rd Grade 04 = 4th Grade 05 = 5th Grade 06 = 6th Grade 07 = 7th Grade 08 = 8th Grade 09 = 9th Grade 10 = 10th Grade 11 = 11th Grade 12 = 12th Grade UE = Ungraded Elementary (Retired 2017–18)
Gender	Character	This field is a coded field identifying gender. The gender is coded as follows: M = Male F = Female X = Non-Binary Gender (Beginning 2019–20) Z = Missing Gender
EO	Numeric	Enrollment of students with English Only (EO) English Language Acquisition Status (ELAS)
IFEP	Numeric	Enrollment of students with Inititial Fluent English Proficient (IFEP) English Language Acquisition Status (ELAS)
EL	Numeric	Enrollment of students with English Learner (EL) English Language Acquisition Status (ELAS)
RFEP	Numeric	Enrollment of students with Reclassified Fluent English Proficient (RFEP) English Language Acquisition Status (ELAS)
TBD	Numeric	Enrollment of students with To Be Determined (TBD) English Language Acquisition Status (ELAS)

AR	Numeric	Enrollment of students with "At-Risk" of Becoming a Long-Term English Learner (AR) English Language Acquisition Status (ELAS) that have been enrolled in a U.S. school for 4–5 years.
LTEL	Numeric	Enrollment of students with Long-Term English Learner (LTEL) English Language Acquisition Status (ELAS)
EL4+	Numeric	An EL student in kindergarten through grade 12 who has been enrolled in a U.S. school for 4+ years and who has been determined to not meet the criteria for being “At-Risk” or LTEL, either because they are not in the applicable grade levels or because they have made progress on the English language development test and English language arts standards-based achievement test.
EL03Y	Numeric	Enrollment of students with English Learner (EL) English Language Acquisition Status (ELAS) that have been enrolled in a U.S. school for 0–3 years.
EL45Y	Numeric	An EL student in kindergarten through grade 12 who has been who has been enrolled in a U.S. school for 4–5 years.
EL6+Y	Numeric	Enrollment of students with English Learner (EL) English Language Acquisition Status (ELAS) that have been enrolled in a U.S. school for 6+ years.
Total-EE	Numeric	Enrollment of students that have been designated an English Learner (EL) at any point during their enrollment in a U.S. school. (Ever-EL)
