Funding Description
One-time funding shall first satisfy any outstanding mandate claims. Funds may be used for any one-time purpose determined by a local educational agency's (LEA's) governing board. The intent of the legislature is that LEAs will prioritize funding to support implementation of Common Core State Standards (CCSS), English Language Development (ELD) Standards and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).

Funds are allocated on the basis of an equal amount per average daily attendance (ADA) as those numbers are reported at the 2013-14 second principal apportionment. School districts, county offices of education and charter schools will receive approximately $66 per ADA for students in grades K through 12.
