Youth Risk Behavior Survey Participation

Funding Description

The Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) Participation grants one-time funding for select high schools that complete and submit their 2017 YRBS to the California Department of Education (CDE). The YRBS is a school-based survey that monitors six types of health-risk behaviors that contribute to the leading causes of death and disability among youth and young adults. Data derived from the YRBS will include weighted data that will allow for California to compare its youth risk behaviors to all other states.
