Funding Description

The purpose of the CA National Board Certification Subsidy Program is to provide the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards with the cost of fees to cover California teachers pursing a National Board certification when teaching at a high-priority school.

Required Eligibility Criteria The authorizing statue requires the California Department of Education (CDE) to provide the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards up to $2,500 for each teacher pursuing National Board certification when teaching at a high priority school.
