Funding Description

Funding provided through the Proposition 98: Career Technical Education Initiative (CTEI). The funded projects must have a statewide benefit. Funding amount is based on the Arts, Media, and Entertainment (AME) Demonstration Sites within the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association (CCSESA) regions.

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria Project funding is awarded on a non-competitive basis to agencies that have the appropriate expertise needed to address the career technical education (CTE) Arts, Media, and Entertainment (AME) Pathways Program related to the CTE plan. The funded projects must have a statewide benefit.

Legal Authority Funding is provided to LEAs to conduct statewide leadership projects at the direction of CDE staff. Funding provided through the CTEI pursuant to the supplemental report of Budget Item 6100-170-0001.
