The Special Education Assembly Bill (AB) 602 Program provides funding to special education local plan areas (SELPAs) based on the SELPA members funded average daily attendance (ADA) and other data components.Eligibility

| Allocation Formula | The AB 602 funding model provides funding to the SELPAs based on the SELPA members funded ADA and rate per unit of ADA. The cost-of-living adjustments provided for this fiscal year is 8.22 percent. The Out-of-Home Care (OHC) and Extraordinary Cost Pool (ECP) Program are both components of the AB 602 funding model.
