American Indian Early Childhood Education


Funding Description

The American Indian Early Childhood Education Program is a state-funded program designed to develop and test educational models that increase competence in reading, language arts, mathematics, and self-esteem for American Indian children in prekindergarten through grade four.

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria A local educational agency that serves a minimum of 10 percent American Indian students at a school site.

Eligible Age Level(s) 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
