Funding Description
The California Adult Education Program (CAEP) provides adult education funding to regional consortia, county offices of education, school districts, community colleges, and joint powers authorities consisting of community colleges, school districts, county offices of education (COE), or a combination of these.

Funds are allocated to each consortium based on that adult education region's share of the statewide need for adult education. All COEs, school districts, and community colleges must be a member of a consortium to receive funding.
