Second Apportionment Notice for Regional Occupation Programs Administering Direct Support Professional Training

The State Controller, State Treasurer, State Department of Finance, County Superintendents of Schools, Auditors, and Treasurers are hereby notified that the second apportionment of fiscal year 2025–26 has been made to Regional Occupational Centers and Programs that supported the Direct Support Professional Program. The appropriation can be found in the Budget Act of 2025 (Chapter 9) Item 6100-105-0001.

Summary of Apportionment:

Item 6100-105-0001: $3,369,500

Previous Apportionments: $518,850

Less: Current Apportionment: $265,000

Balance Available: $2,585,650

This apportionment is made in support of the administration of challenge tests and training courses to community care facilities direct support professionals, as identified on the monthly financial report submitted to the California Department of Education.

Warrants will be drawn on the State Treasury by the State Controller in favor of the County Treasurers as specified on the attached schedule. The County Treasurers are requested to deposit immediately the amount received to the General Fund of the local educational agency.

I hereby certify that this is a true and correct statement of apportionment made by me as directed by law. I further certify that this apportionment is in accordance with all applicable provisions of the Budget Act, the California Education Code, and the Constitution of the State of California pertaining to the particular appropriation cited in this document.
