System of Support for Expanded Learning Grant

Note: The due date for the request for applications has passed. This page is for reference and administration of funding.

The System of Support for Expanded Learning (SSEL) funding supports local educational agencies (LEAs) that serve for the SSEL Lead County Office of Education (COE) to provide field-based technical assistance and support to current and prospective After School Education and Safety, as well as 21st Century Community Learning Centers programs. The regions of the state served by the SSEL Lead COE correspond to the 11 service regions of the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association. As part of the SSEL, the SSEL COEs serve on behalf of the California Department of Education, Expanded Learning Division, in providing support to local expanded learning programs based on regional/county needs.
