Approved Levels of Meals for Vended SFSP Sites

On May 31, 2023, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued Policy Memorandum SP 09-2023: Approved Levels of Meals for Vended Sites in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The policy provides guidance on establishing and revising the approved level of meals, also known as site caps, for SFSP sites serving meals prepared by food service management companies, known as vended sites.
