Updates to Child Nutrition Program Standards

The California Department of Education (CDE) Nutrition Services Division (NSD) has released the following Management Bulletins (MB):

  • SNP-08-2026, SFSP-02-2026 Updates to School Nutrition Program Standards
  • SNP-09-2026 Preschool Meal Pattern Requirements

The MBs are available on the CDE School Nutrition Programs (SNP) MBs web page and the CDE Summer Food MBs web page. The NSD has updated the guidance and information in the MBs to reflect requirements and flexibilities established by the following:
