Uniform Complaint Procedures Training

Training resources on the Uniform Complaint Procedures (UCP) from the Categorical Programs Complaints Management Office.

Local educational agency (LEA) requests for training and technical assistance on the Uniform Complaint Procedures (UCP), consolidated categorical aid programs, unlawful pupil fees, and federal program monitoring (FPM) of the UCP are granted as resources are available.

Categorical Programs Complaints Management Office (CPCMO) staff provide training and assistance for LEAs that are having an FPM UCP review. To request UCP review training, please contact the CPCMO by phone at 916-319-0929.

CPCMO staff do not provide training for the processing of UCP complaints. We recommend that LEAs contact their district or county office of education, or other districts in their county, to see what process they may have in place.

You can find contact information for various programs and services subject to the UCP on the Uniform Complaint Procedures Contacts web page.
