CSPP Neighborhood School Site Verification

Resources for verifying California State Preschool Program (CSPP) Neighborhood School Sites.

List of Eligible Public Elementary Schools

This list includes all qualified free and reduced-price meal (FRPM) schools for a given program year. Pursuant to California Code of Regulations, Title 5 17700(ay), a qualified FRPM school is defined as a public elementary school, that is not a charter or magnet school, where at least 80 percent of the enrolled students are eligible for the free and reduced-price meal program. California State Preschool Program contractors seeking to enroll children under the CSPP Neighborhood School Eligibility provision must refer to the current list below. Previous years’ lists are posted on this page for reference purposes only.

Site Verification Form

For initial CSPP Neighborhood School Site verification, contractors must complete the Site Verification Form, attached below, and submit it via email to FRPMSiteApproval@cde.ca.gov. After submission of the form, contractors will receive an email with either written approval or denial.

Annual Reverification Survey

For each program year after the CSPP site receives initial approval, contractors seeking to continue to enroll children under the CSPP Neighborhood School Eligibility provision must complete the Annual Reverification Survey, which can be accessed at the link below. The link to reverify for the upcoming program year will be available no sooner than June 1 of the preceding year.
