Pause in Monthly Certification, Late Notifications, and Withholds
The California Department of Education (CDE) is temporarily pausing the requirement for monthly certification in the California Preschool Data Collection (CAPSDAC) system during the transition to CAPSDAC 2.0. While agencies are still required to submit accurate enrollment data monthly, there will be a pause of sending out the late notification as well as withholds. This pause is to shift focus to prioritize support for agencies and the submission of accurate data during the initial implementation of CAPSDAC 2.0. The CAPSDAC Support Team will also continue to support agencies in submitting their monthly enrollment information.
