Item 11–Public Hearing: California’s Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part B Application. This hearing is the culmination of the federally required 60 day public comment period. Stakeholders are invited to provide verbal or written comment. Presented by Jeffrey Reyes, Education Programs Consultant, SED, CDE. (Item type: Information)

Item 12−Special Education Task Force Recommendations Review by Workgroups. Stakeholders and visitors are welcome to join the work groups and participate in roundtable discussions. NOTE: This item will not be Webcast. (Item type: Information)

*Time will be allocated to distance participant Family Empowerment Centers (FECs) and Parent Training and Information Centers (PTIs) to present issues of importance to families. Stakeholders wishing to give public comment via teleconference may contact their local FEC or PTI prior to the meeting to arrange in person comment at the FEC or PTI.
