Model School Attendance Review Board (SARB) identifies outstanding results-based school attendance improvement programs that provide comprehensive services to high-risk youth with school attendance or school behavior problems.

2023–24 Model SARB Recognition Program Application

The Model SARB Recognition Program identifies outstanding results-based school attendance improvement programs that provide comprehensive services to high-risk youth with school attendance or school behavior problems.

The Model SARB Recognition Program Application Certification Form, Narratives for Content Areas, and Letters of Support must be uploaded to the California Department of Education (CDE) exFiles File Transfer System no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024.

Model SARB Program Announcements

Each of the following announcements includes a list of the school districts and county offices of education that were recognized for exemplary SARB practices and their Model SARB chairperson. The Model SARBs can provide examples of these best practices and technical assistance.
