Education Built to Last Tour

This is a list of news articles that relate to the U.S. Department of Educations tour of California Green Ribbon schools.

On September 16 and 17, 2013, the U.S. Department of Education led federal, state, and local officials and stakeholders on a tour of five California schools selected as U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools (ED-GRS). The tour highlighted facilities best practices and the schools' achievement in the Three Pillars.

The California leg of the national tour included stops at 2013 selectees Journey School and Charles Evans Hughes Middle School, and 2012 selectees Environmental Charter High School, Grand View Elementary School, and Longfellow Elementary School.
