Figure 4.3. High-Quality Early Childhood Education

A figure shows a graphical representation of the four practice areas that characterize high-quality early childhood education for dual language learners. The practice areas are: provide culturally and linguistically responsive environment, provide home language and early literacy development, promote English language and early literacy development, and provide rich learning experiences in all domains. The practice areas are connected by bands that represent family engagement and assessment.
