2025 Mathematics Instructional Materials Adoption (K–8)
The California State Board of Education will consider at its public meeting, scheduled for January 18-19, 2024, formally scheduling a mathematics instructional materials adoption for 2025 by approving a formal notice of intent to hold an adoption and a schedule of significant events. Until the SBE takes this action, all information on this math instructional materials adoption webpage is tentative.

The CDE anticipates that the SBE may consider at its public meeting, scheduled for January 18–19, 2024, approving an application for those individuals interested in being an Instructional Materials Reviewer or Content Review Expert for the tentatively scheduled 2025 Mathematics Instructional Materials Adoption.
The anticipated application period will be April through September 2024, and a link to the online application will appear on this web page during that period.

In preparation for California’s anticipated 2025 Mathematics Instructional Materials Adoption for kindergarten through grade eight, the California Department of Education, in conjunction with WestEd's Region 15 Comprehensive Center, will host the following series of webinars designed to familiarize publishers and content developers with the Mathematics Framework for California Public Schools: Kindergarten Through Grade Twelve (Mathematics Framework) adopted by the SBE in July 2023:

A key evaluation criterion of California instructional materials adoptions is that programs submitted for consideration of SBE adoption must be consistent with the associated subject matter curriculum framework. These webinars will help publishers and content developers achieve this goal.
