Annual Aggregate Reports
The page displays the annual California State Preschool Program enrollment data by Statutory Age and Program Length for fiscal years 2020−25, providing an unduplicated count of children served by the California Department of Education (CDE).State-level aggregate California State Preschool Program (CSPP) enrollment is compiled annually by the CDE and represents an unduplicated count of the pupil served during the state fiscal year (July through June). This report was developed by counting students once (students may be counted twice if they received services from both part-day and full-day programs throughout the year) during the fiscal year.

CSPP - Part-Day: receiving 4 or fewer hours of care per day.
CSPP - Full-Day: receiving more than 4 hours of care per day.
2The Two-year-old children in this column align with the CSPP statutory age definitions for each of the FY report.
3The Three-year-old children in this column align with the CSPP statutory age definitions for each of the FY report.
4The Four-year-old children in this column align with the CSPP statutory age definitions for each of the FY report.
5Child counts are unduplicated within each program type. A child may be counted more than once if they received services within multiple program types during the year. The total does not equal the sum of the rows. Rather, the total represents the unduplicated number of children served regardless of program type.
