Dual Language Immersion Grant (DLIG) Program

Funding Description

The purpose of the Dual Language Immersion Grant (DLIG) is to expand or establish dual language immersion programs that provide integrated language learning and academic instruction for native speakers of English and native speakers of another language, with the goals of high academic achievement, first and second language proficiency, and cross-cultural understanding.

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria The department shall allocate grant funding to eligible entities at the elementary or secondary level, including schools, school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, or consortia of the aforementioned entities.
