Funding Description

This request for proposal (RFP) invites submissions from eligible bidders who can design, implement, and operate a large-scale, statewide professional development project that supports high performing literacy and basic skills adult education programs, as defined by the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Title II: Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA). The federal WIOA, Title II: AEFLA requires funded agencies to provide adult education professional development activities to improve instruction.

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies, nonprofit organizations, other organizations or agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria Successful bidder must have experience in design, implement and operate a large-scale, statewide professional development project that supports high performing literacy and basic skills adult education programs.
