Arts, Media, and Entertainment (AME) Model Programs


Funding Description

AME Model Programs: AME Workforce Training, Hip Hop Education and Equity Initiative, and AME Demonstration Sites. The funding is provided through the Proposition 98: Career Technical Education Initiative (CTEI) to Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) to fund statewide leadership projects that must have a statewide benefit.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria Project funding is awarded on a non-competitive basis to agencies that have the appropriate expertise needed to address CDE priorities for career technical education (CTE). The funded projects must have a statewide benefit and serve as model programs for their regions.
Other Eligibility Considerations Existing: In order to receive funding, AME Model Programs must submit a Letter of Intent annually.

Funding

Legal Authority Funding is provided to LEAs to conduct statewide leadership projects at the direction of CDE staff. Funding provided through the CTEI pursuant to the supplemental report of Budget Item 6100-170-0001.
