Funding Description

The intent of the HETACs is to provide regional support, resources, and expertise to county offices of education (COEs) to ensure that local educational agencies meet all requirements specified in the federal McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act. The provisions of this Act are designed to improve the identification, educational stability, access, and academic achievement of children and youth experiencing homelessness.
