Middle School Foundation Academies Planning Grant

Middle School Foundation Academies (MSFA) Planning Grants will be funded at $75,000. This funding is for three planning grants for middle school career academies ($25,000 per Academy). The funds are from the Proposition 98 - Career Technical Education Initiative is included in the 2022-23 State Budget. The program aims to establish MSFAs to prepare students for participation in a complete, high-quality career technical education pathway at the local high school.

General Assurances & Certifications (July 2022)

Required as a condition of receiving funds. Applicants do not need to sign and return them with the application; they must be downloaded and kept on file for compliance reviews, complaint investigations, or audits. Applicants that participate in the Consolidated Application - ConApp - should have a copy on file and do not need another copy. Program-specific assurances are not included here and should be listed separately on the Request for Application (RFA).
