School Health Demonstration Project Technical Assistance Teams Selection


Note: The due date for the request for applications has passed. This page is for reference and administration of funding.

The California Department of Education will select up to three technical assistance (TA) teams to provide direct TA services for local educational agency (LEA) pilot participants that will be identified through another application process. The School Health Demonstration Project is meant to help LEAS to become self-sustaining by securing federal reimbursement and other revenue sources for health and mental health services provided to Medi-Cal eligible students. Funding for the TA teams will be provided through the School Health Demonstration Project.

A technical assistance webinar to review all parts of the Request for Application will take place on Friday, September 9, 2022, from 10–11 a.m. Applications must be submitted as a PDF via email to Wellness@cde.ca.gov by Friday, September 30, 2022 by 5 p.m.

General Assurances & Certifications

Required as a condition of receiving funds. Applicants do not need to sign and return them with the application; they must be downloaded and kept on file for compliance reviews, complaint investigations, or audits. Applicants that participate in the Consolidated Application - ConApp - should have a copy on file and do not need another copy. Program-specific assurances are not included here and should be listed separately on the Request for Application.
