Model SARB Recognition Program
Identifies outstanding results-based school attendance improvement programs that provide comprehensive services to high-risk youth with school attendance or school behavior problems.Invitation letter, Intent to Submit, instructions, application, and rubric for the Model School Attendance Review Board (SARB) Recognition Program for 2020–21.
The Intent to Submit must be submitted to the California Department of Education (CDE) by Friday, December 18, 2020.
The application must be submitted to the CDE no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021.
A new, shortened, application has been developed due to circumstances created by the coronavirus (COVID-19). In addition, the submission process has been modified. Applicants are now required to upload their materials into the CDE exFiles File Transfer System. Instructions on how to upload application materials are included in the Instructions and Application document below.
