Tom Herman, Education Administrator, Whole Child Division, CDE, will present the agenda and the minutes for approval

  • Approval of Agenda
  • Approval of May 15, 2025, Meeting Minutes

9:55 a.m.—Information/Discussion

Cecilia Leong, State SARB Member, will provide an update of Chronic Absence Workgroup efforts

10:15 a.m.—Information

Hilva Chan, Education Programs Consultant, Whole Child Division, CDE, will present current statewide aggregate data on several risk behaviors from the California Healthy Kids Survey relevant to school attendance

10:45 a.m.—Information

Tom Herman, Education Administrator, Whole Child Division, CDE, will facilitate State SARB member announcements and information sharing, including, but not limited to:

  • Updates on any recent or upcoming workshops, conferences, or training opportunities

11:05 a.m.—Information

Members of the public will be invited to speak for a maximum of three minutes each. Comments will be for information only.

11:35 a.m.—Information
