Background
The California Department of Education (CDE) recognizes SMP operators who complete the three key elements during the F2Summer Celebration Week: 1) Taste, 2) Teach, and 3) Connect. These activities are completed during the designated F2Summer Celebration Week. SMP operators need to submit the post-survey to qualify for the recognition, which includes:
- One in a Melon Award Certificate
- F2Summer Online Badge
- Recognition during the Nutrition Services Division Town Hall
- A mention on the CDE website
