This division is the primary source for educational data reporting for the California Department of Education and is responsible for overseeing school and district accountability through the California School Dashboard and the School Accountability Report Cards.

The Analysis, Measurement & Accountability Reporting Division is part of the Instruction and Measurement Branch.
California’s integrated local, state, and federal accountability and continuous improvement system contains reports that display performance of local educational agencies (LEAs), schools, and student groups to identify strengths, challenges, and areas in need of improvement. Information about how LEAs and schools are meeting the needs of California’s diverse student population is provided through the California School Dashboard .
Reports for state and federal accountability (i.e., Dashboard), test data, enrollment, graduation rates, dropout information, suspension rates, chronic absenteeism rates, course enrollments, staffing, and data regarding English Learners.

School Accountability Report Card
California public & nonpublic, nonsectarian schools annually provide information to the community to allow public comparison of schools for student achievement, environment, resources & demographics.
