California School Recognition Program Awards Ceremony for 2020.

The 2020 California School Recognition Program (CSRP) Awards Ceremony (Awards Ceremony) will take place on Monday, February 10, 2020, at the Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim, California. We are excited to honor all of our CSRP Awardees and hope you will be able to attend the Awards Ceremony.

Awards Ceremony Registration

The Awards Ceremony has a limited amount of space available. Registration, prior to Tuesday, January 21, 2020, is $275 per person, plus a $10 convenience fee. Registration after January 21 is $325 per person, plus a $10 convenience fee. Registration includes the Awards Ceremony Reception, Photographs, and Dinner. All ticket sales are pre-sold and must be completed online. There are no refunds after January 21. There is no maximum ticket limit. To ensure your attendance, purchase your tickets early. Seating will be pre-assigned by table. Each table seats 10. It is up to your school/district to decide who will be attending.

Awards Ceremony Check-In Procedures

The Awards Ceremony Check-In will take place in the Center Lounge from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. All Attendees will receive their name badge and Awards Ceremony Dinner table assignment at check-in. Program Principal Awardees will receive their award(s) in the North Lounge.

  • Program Principal Awardees, and all other attendees, will check-in at the Check-In table.
  • Sponsors will check-in at the Sponsor table.

Awards Ceremony Reception and Photographs

The Awards Ceremony Reception will take place in the Grand Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reception attendees must have purchased a ticket to attend the Reception. During the Reception, each principal, accompanied with their fellow school/district/county attendees, will have the opportunity to be photographed with State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond.

Important! There will be no photograph appointment times this year. Photographs will take place during the Reception in the Grand Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Photographs are complimentary and will be taken on a first-come, first-photographed basis. There is only one photograph per award. It is the responsibility of each individual group to make sure that all members of their group are together in line. The photograph line will be cut-off at 2 p.m. There will be no exceptions or retakes. To ensure your photograph, please plan accordingly and get in line at 10 a.m.

Awards Ceremony attendees can cheer as their principal/superintendent(s) walks across the stage; share their success with other schools/districts; and, enjoy comradeship with other awardees over light hors d'oeuvres. Dress is business formal or festive. Be comfortable and ready to say, "Cheese!"

Michael Kitada Photography will take professional color photographs of attendees, compliments of the sponsors of the event. Awards Ceremony Dinner

The Awards Ceremony Dinner will take place in the Exhibit Hall from 6 to 9 p.m. Seating will begin at 5:30 p.m. The Dinner is designed to highlight our CSRP Awardees and celebrate their hard work. The Dinner will include a congratulatory address, greetings from special guests, and entertainment from talented student performers. Dress is festive, semi-formal, after six, or cocktail attire. Be comfortable and ready to celebrate!

Disneyland® Hotel Rooms

The Disneyland® Resort is offering a limited number of rooms at the Disneyland® Hotel a special rate of $239 for Awards Ceremony attendees. Reservations must be made by Tuesday, January 21, 2020, or before the group rooms are sold out, so do not delay. Disneyland® Resort Parking

The Disneyland® Resort is offering a discounted rate for self-parking and valet services for Awards Ceremony attendees. The cost for self-parking is $20 per night, per vehicle; valet service is $30 per night, per vehicle. These parking rates do not include in/out privileges. Please mention that you are attending the CSRP Awards Ceremony.

Disneyland® Resort Theme Park Tickets

The Disneyland® Resort is offering specially priced theme park tickets for Awards Ceremony attendees. These special ticket prices are not available once you arrive at the Disneyland® Resort. The ticket store will close at 9 p.m. PST on Friday, February 7, 2020. Do not delay!
