2026 California Spanish Assessment Focus Group Sessions

California Spanish Assessment (CSA) Educators and Support Staff—we need your voice! The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) will be hosting two virtual CSA Focus Groups designed to provide the California Department of Education (CDE) with information on how local educational agencies (LEAs) use CSA data to evaluate their Spanish language arts programs at the local level and how the CSA is communicated to students and families. Additionally, feedback will be gathered about current and future resources and future test improvements. We hope you can join us.

Registration for focus group sessions is now open. Sessions are available on the following dates by grade span.

Grades 3–8

• Registration for Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Registration for Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

Grades 9–12

• Registration for Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Registration for Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
