Release of the 2026 California School Dashboard and 2025–26 CAASPP and ELPAC Assessment Results
On October 15, 2026, the California Department of Education (CDE) released both the 2026 California School Dashboard and state-level assessment data for the 2025–26 CAASPP and ELPAC. For the first time, California is releasing statewide assessment results and California School Dashboard data together, providing families, educators, and policymakers with a more comprehensive picture of student and school performance. The aligned release brings together academic achievement with broader measures of student success, including graduation rate, college and career readiness, suspension, and chronic absenteeism.
The 2025–26 CAASPP summary reports include all results for the following assessments:
- Smarter Balanced English Language Arts/Literacy (ELA) and Mathematics
- California Science Test
- California Alternate Assessments for ELA, Mathematics, and Science
- California Spanish Assessment
The 2025–26 ELPAC summary reports include all results for the following assessments:
- Initial ELPAC
- Initial Alternate ELPAC
- Summative ELPAC
- Summative Alternate ELPAC
The CAASPP and ELPAC summary reports are available on the Test Results for California’s Assessments website
