Nondiscrimination Statement - Policy Update


On April 10, 2025, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Civil Rights Division, updated the nondiscrimination statement (NDS). An updated NDS can be found on the USDA Civil Rights NDS web page External link opens in new window or tab..

Nondiscrimination Statement

The USDA has updated the long version of the NDS and it is available on the California Department of Education (CDE) USDA NDS web page. Please update all Child Nutrition Program (CNP) materials that include the long version of the NDS, such as web pages and notification letters.

And Justice For All Poster

At this time, the USDA has not provided hard copies of the new And Justice For All (AJFA) poster. It is available electronically on the USDA AJFA web page External link opens in new window or tab.. Once the USDA releases the updated poster to state agencies, we will share via listserv information on how to order and receive the posters. If program operators elect to print their own posters, please be advised the reproduction of the AJFA poster must be 17’’ in height and 11’’ wide in size.
