Join California (CA) Agriculture in the Classroom at the 38th Annual Agriculture in the Classroom Conference to explore hands-on activities, supporting resources, and inspiration to integrate agriculture into every subject!

In support of cafeteria to classroom connections that provide food literacy education to students and farm to school (F2S) efforts that enhance school meals made with local, minimally processed ingredients, the Nutrition Services Division (NSD) is pleased to be hosting a special session at the conference to help educators create meaningful links between learning and school meal programs.

Target Audience

The conference is designed for Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12 educators, administrators, and volunteers.

Sunday, September 28, 2025, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Location

Hilton Sacramento Arden West, Sacramento, California. Friday’s schedule includes field trips to farms and school kitchens.

California Agriculture in the Classroom offers free Farm to School materials to use throughout the school year; these materials can be accessed at the Harvesting for a Healthy Community web page External link opens in new window or tab.. Each month’s fruit or vegetable includes a poster, newsletter, taste and teach lesson, and a mini book.
