The latest annual K-12 public school chronic absenteeism rate by ethnicity

This report displays the 2018–19, K–12 homeless youth, public school chronic absenteeism rate by ethnicity.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: No reports due to the determination by the California Department of Education (CDE) that the data are not valid and reliable for the 2019–20 academic year. This is due to the manner in which absenteeism data are collected in the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) that impacts the integrity of the data and related calculations for any period of time other than the full academic year. For more information about the impact of COVID-19 on data reporting for the 2019–20 academic year, please visit the CDE COVID-19 and Data Reporting webpage.
