Funding Description

The Tobacco-Use Prevention Education (TUPE) Capacity Building Provider Grant will provide support and guidance to local TUPE-funded programs focusing on preventing and reducing the use of tobacco products by school-aged youth.

Funding

Legal Authority Proposition 56, in accordance with California Health and Safety Code (HSC) Section 104420, for the purpose of eliminating tobacco-related disparities (California Revenue and Taxation Code Section 30130.55[b][2] Healthcare, Research and Prevention Tobacco Tax Act of 2016, Distribution of Revenue).
