A-G Completion Improvement Grant Program Fiscal Year 2021-22


Funding Description

A-G Completion Improvement Grant Program provides additional supports to local educational agencies (LEAs) to help increase the number of California high school pupils, particularly unduplicated pupils, who graduate from high school with A-G eligibility requirements completed for admission to the California State University and the University of California.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria School districts, county offices of education, and charter schools with 2020-21 Grades 9-12 Unduplicated Pupil Counts are eligible to receive the A-G Completion Grant. A local educational agency that is otherwise eligible and is receiving concentration grant funding as of the second principal apportionment certification for the 2020-21 fiscal year shall receive a total allocation of not less than seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for each section as applicable.
Other Eligibility Considerations Local educational agencies (LEAs) receiving funds pursuant to Education Code (EC) sections 41590(c) and 41590(e) must report final expenditures of those apportioned funds to the department on or before September 30, 2026. LEAs that do not submit the final expenditure report shall forfeit all funds.
