Funding Description

The California Community Schools Partnership Program Implementation Grant funds are to be used to support the establishment of new community schools and/or the expansion or continuation of existing community schools. A community school is a "Whole-Child" school improvement strategy where the local educational agency and school(s) work closely with teachers, students, and families. Community Schools partner with community agencies and local government to align community resources to improve student outcomes.

Required Eligibility Criteria An applicant must be a school district, charter school, or county office of education.
