Mental Health Average Daily Attendance


Funding Description

Funding supports mental health services provided to special education students with an individualized education program (IEP), in accordance with the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria Grantees must maintain and have available documentation with sufficient detail to enable the California Department of Education (CDE) to establish a link between the services claimed and each student's IEP. Local educational agencies must have a local plan on file with the CDE that has been approved by the special education local plan area (SELPA).
Other Eligibility Considerations Funds must be exclusively used to support mental health services that are included within the student's IEP.
