Early Education Teacher Development Grant

Early Education Teacher Development Grant is funded in combination with the California Prekindergarten Planning and Implementation Grant. The entirety of the California Prekindergarten Planning and Implementation Grant Program was established as a state initiative with the goal of expanding access to classroom-based prekindergarten programs at local educational agencies (LEAs) and planning for the increased number of teachers needed to fully implement Universal Prekindergarten.

Request for Applications (Snap Survey) The Early Education Teacher Development Grant Request for Application (RFA) is intended for local educational agencies, including school districts, charter schools, and county offices of education. Eligible applicants may apply and submit the RFA by 5:00PM on Friday, May 27, 2022.

Letter of Intent (LOI) is required if the local educational agency intends to submit an application and was due February 2, 2022. We are no longer accepting LOIs at this time.
