SFSP Policy Updates


On September 28, 2023, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced updated guidance regarding Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) operations and procedures. The USDA issued three new policy memos and revised two existing policy memos. This communication identifies and briefly describes each of these policy memos. The California Department of Education will issue management bulletins on these topics as deemed necessary.
